Opal Stanley Whiteley (1897�?) was an author and speaker who studied biology and professed harmony with nature in her book,�The Fairyland Around Us�(Los Angeles, 1918) Whitely was raised in a logging camp in Lane County, Oregon, and later published a poetic diary,�The Story of Opal, purportedly written during her childhood.
