Willard Marriott Library is currently accepting applications for two (2) tenure-track Science and Engineering Librarian positions. \nDescription:\nCome work in a student-centered library with a team that excels in supporting the teaching and research mission of the University of Utah. The J. Willard Marriott Library seeks to recruit two tenure-track librarians who will enrich and strengthen our organization. We seek qualified applicants with broad knowledge in science and engineering. The Librarians will develop\, implement\, and assess learning experiences concerning library research tools\, methods\, and strategies. They will also build connections with academic programs to increase engagement with library resources and services\, as well as manage library collections and services to meet research and curricula needs. SUMMARY:Webinar: Wikipedia Metrics & Tools for DPLA Contributors
DESCRIPTION:With Christine Fernsebner Eslao\, Giovanna Fontenelle\, and Jamie Flood. Join members of the Wikimedia Working Group for an overview of metrics and tracking tools across Wikimedia platforms. We will look at metrics and tools while offering advice for institutions currently contributing\, or looking to get involved with the DPLA Wikimedia Pipeline\, and related Wikipedia work and editing. During the presentation we will cover pipeline metrics\, Wikimedia events dashboard and using it for tracking\, article assessment tools\, a tool for adding images to articles\, and Wikimedia Commons specific tools. Additionally\, we will briefly discuss new Wikimedia Foundation tools that are being developed. The presenters have first hand experience with all tools being covered and will offer insight and demonstrations into how to best utilize them for your personal or institutional editing and content goals.
