SUMMARY:CfP: LD4 2026 Conference - Linked Data in Practice
DESCRIPTION:The LD4 2026 Conference (Sept 28-30\, 2026; online) invites proposals for presentations\, lightning talks\, and workshops that highlight the application of linked data and its impact on knowledge systems\, with a focus on galleries\, libraries\, archives\, and museums. \nPossible topics could include: \n\nFrom pilot to production – the life cycle of a linked data project\nBuilding sustainable and scalable linked data workflows\nStrengthening connections through linked data\nProject how-tos and case studies\nAnd any other topic related to linked data and GLAM\n\nYou can explore past LD4 conferences to learn more. \nThe organizers encourage you to submit a proposal for any of these session formats: \n\n10 minute lightning talks\n30 minute presentations (inclusive of a Q&A portion)\nWorkshops (longer form how-to’s\, show & tell\, and participatory sessions)\n\nWe are especially encouraging proposals from participants from groups and regions that are traditionally underrepresented in conferences related to linked data in libraries and other cultural heritage organizations\, as well as proposals from early career professionals. Successful proposals will focus on concrete ways that linked data is used in GLAM (Galleries\, Libraries\, Archives\, and Museums) institutions\, and will share pathways that allow others to participate in linked data. We encourage proposals especially from groups and regions that have been underrepresented in our conferences. \nThe conference is an initiative of the LD4 Community. The conference is free of charge\, and we will reach back out to let everyone know when registration is open. You can see up-to-date information on the 2026 LD4 Conference Website. \nTo submit a proposal\, please fill out the form here.
