This digital-only collection primarily includes annual reports of the Salt Lake City Fire Department for the years 1940-1941, 1944-1973, 1975-1989 and 2002-2003. The collection also contains the reports on the proceedings of the sixth-eleventh annual Firemen’s Training School (1950-1955), the 1976 Salt Lake City Fire Department master plan, and a selection of black-and-white photographs. The physical materials were loaned to the UVU Sutherland Archives for digitization by Ray Schelble and Dan Walker of the Salt Lake City Fire Department, in collaboration with Steve Lutz of the Utah Fire and Rescue Academy at Utah Valley University.
