Preservation West Symposium, 2026

Introduction
We are excited to invite you to the upcoming Preservation West Symposium, hosted this year by the Church History Department. This event presents a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge and build collaborative networks with fellow preservation professionals. The event will feature presentations on multiple preservation domains, including conservation, digital preservation, audiovisual preservation, digital imaging, and collection care.
This year’s theme, Preservision: Where We’ve Been and Where We’re Going, invites us to look back on how far we’ve come as a field, as institutions, and as professionals. It’s a chance to track our growth, celebrate how we’ve improved, and to recognize preservation as a dynamic and diverse discipline.
