Join us to learn concrete ways that linked data benefits GLAM institutions, and discover pathways to participation in linked data. Whether you have already implemented linked data in your work or are just getting started, you will leave with a better understanding of what linked data is, how it can be used, and what you can do to get started or continue to incorporate linked data in your institutions or projects. By bringing together a broad range of perspectives, and centering diversity, equity, inclusion, and ethics in our discussions, we will create a community of practice for linked data in libraries.
The LD4 conference is part of a wider LD4 Community, which includes a website (ld4.io), a Slack Workspace, and several open affinity groups. Join the LD4 Slack workspace where you’ll find channels for affinity groups on topics like discovery (#discovery), ethics in linked data (#ethicsld), and Wikidata (#wikidata).
The language of the conference is English.
Registration to open in June.
