Utah Division of State History are excited to partner with PBS Utah and their event, “A Conversation With Bridget Lancaster,” to host a special Scan-and-Share.
Do you have an iconic recipe that has been part of your family for generations? This Scan-and-Share is centered around recipes and photos related to food –think cooking, images of families eating around dinner tables, etc.
Bring your favorite recipe and food-related photo to have scanned, preserved, and shared on our Peoples of Utah Revisited ONLINE COLLECTION. Members of UDSH staff will engage with you to learn more about your recipes and photos. Questions you may be asked include: What year was the recipe written/photo taken? Who does the recipe/photo belong to? Why is this recipe/photo significant? Items will then be scanned, digital copies will be made, and the originals will be returned to you.
